Why join our drill team?

Hello! Team captain, Mariah talking here. I came from an experienced team who taught me well and I’m so happy to branch off and start on my own.

Having a law enforcement and military background, I’m proud to say that leadership is my strong suit. What makes me most excited about running a drill team is having the privilege and honor to instill knowledge and confidence in those around me. I joined drill because I know that when I surround myself with other strong equestrian women, we could join forces and go to great lengths! Our team has been nothing but pure fun and excitement as we are moving in such a great direction.

We’re country loving, patriotic, God fearing women and I wouldn’t have it any other way. If you’re looking for a team who cares, supports, and looks out for each other like family, look no further, we’re here!

Team practice

Dates and times may very depending on the availability of the team and the season.

Currently, our practice schedule is as follows:

Date: Sundays (may vary)

Time: In the saddle at 2:00 pm

Where: Gavilan Hills Equestrian Center

Are there “tryouts”?

Nope! As much as I require my cowgirls to be tough cookies, I don’t like the idea of “trying out”. I think it’s intimidating and gives people the wrong idea.

My idea of trying out is just showing up to a practice or two and riding with us as you would if you were already on the team.

If you get a long great with our team and you fit right in, we’ll get in contact with you to have you back to join!
